We recently announced a new change to Bike MS: Sanford Health Pedal the Plains (South Dakota) and Bike MS: Cruise the Cornfields (Iowa). The 2014 rides will be moving from a two-day format to a one-day format.
We're committed to growing these events, and we want to make them bigger and better in 2014. By moving both rides to a one-day format, we're hoping to draw more people, and of course, raise more funds to help create a world free of MS.
Each ride will feature a 25-, 50- and 100-mile route option so that cyclists of all levels can participate. Official routes will be announced in spring. For a low-registration fee, riders will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a finish line meal, food and drinks at rest stops, mechanical and medical support, police and volunteeer support, and much more. The fundraising minimum will be $100.
Cruise the Cornfields will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014, in the Des Moines, Iowa, area.
Pedal the Plains will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 in the Sioux Falls, S.D. area.
Ride the Wind will be held July 26, 2014 in the Fargo-Moorehead, ND area.
It’s a good feeling knowing every dollar you raise makes a difference in the lives of people with multiple sclerosis. Thanks to people like you, we we're able to continue to provide support to thousands of people touched by MS across the Midwest. If you have questions about these changes, please contact us at specialevents@MSsociety.org or 800-582-5296 (option 2).
